LockPad Fee Schedule and Disclosures

Last updated: [Effective Date] ยท Version 0.5 (draft of October 5, 2026)

This page is part of the LockPad Terms of Service. It sets out every fee LockPad charges or receives and how trading fees are split, both for coins LockPad deploys from Creators' ideas and for LockPad's own planned tokens, $LOCKY and $LOCKPAD. The fee terms that apply to a coin are the ones in effect at the moment it launches, and they are frozen in its launch transaction forever. Changes to this page apply only to future launches.

1. Platform Launch Fee

The Platform Launch Fee is the launch cost + US$2, on every chain. It is paid once by the Creator, before launch, in the launching chain's native coin, at a live quote that is locked at checkout. Checkout shows it as two lines:

  • Network / launch cost: LockPad's live simulation of everything its launcher pays to launch your coin on that chain (gas, priority fees, account rent, pool setup and metadata pinning), plus a safety buffer (currently 20%) for price and gas moves before your launch.
  • LockPad fee: US$2, flat.

There are no free launches.

  • Live quote, locked at checkout. At checkout we convert the US-dollar total into the chain's native coin using a live market price from Pyth Network price feeds (with Chainlink or CoinGecko as a fallback if Pyth is unavailable or stale), rounded up to the chain's smallest unit. That native-coin amount is locked for 5 minutes. If you don't pay in time, the quote expires and a new one is made at the then-current launch cost and price. The amount you pay is the locked native-coin amount, even if the coin's price or network costs move afterwards.
  • Non-refundable, except that it is automatically refunded to the paying wallet if the launch fails (Terms Section 9.4). Refunds are made in the same native coin and the same amount you paid, not re-priced in U.S. dollars, so their dollar value may be higher or lower than when you paid.
  • Network fees. You also pay the network (gas) fee for your own payment transaction; it goes to validators and is not refunded. The Platform Launch Fee covers all of LockPad's launch transaction and setup costs. There is no separate or later charge for them.
  • Launch timing and rising costs. LockPad aims to launch your coin within about 2 minutes of your payment confirming, and never asks you for more. If the launch cost rises above the cost locked in your quote, LockPad absorbs small increases and launches right away. If the increase is large (currently, a loss to LockPad of US$5 or more on the launch), LockPad retries frequently for up to 5 minutes after your payment confirmed; if it still can't launch, the launch is treated as failed and refunded automatically in full. LockPad may pause new launches on a chain in extreme network-cost conditions, or if the chain or a launch protocol is down or unsafe; launches already paid for still go ahead or are refunded.

The Platform Launch Fee is LockPad revenue for the launch service (the US$2 LockPad fee plus any part of the network/launch-cost line not used by the launch).

2. Trading fee rate

Every LockPad Coin charges a trading fee of 1.5% of trade value on every buy and every sell, on every chain. This includes coins created from Creators' ideas, reward coins, $LOCKY and $LOCKPAD. On Solana the same 1.5% applies on the bonding curve and in the pool the coin graduates to. The rate is the same for every coin, Creators cannot choose a different rate or separate buy and sell rates, and it is set in the launch configuration and cannot be changed after launch.

3. Trading fee splits (frozen at launch)

There are four splits (3.1, 3.2, 3.3 and 3.5). Each is written into the coin's launch transaction and can never be changed. Each applies to the trading fees available for distribution after any protocol share (see 3.4). In plain numbers: Traders pay 1.5%. On Solana, the pool protocol (Meteora) keeps 20% of that, and on regular coins the remaining 1.2% is split 75% creator / 5% $LOCKY burn / 10% $LOCKPAD burn / 10% platform, so creators earn about 0.9% of every trade. On Base, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain, LockPad's own pool hook collects the full 1.5% with no protocol cut, so the same split gives regular-coin creators 1.125% of every trade. On reward coins (3.5) the Creator receives 25% instead (about 0.3% of every trade on Solana, 0.375% on EVM chains) and holders 50% (about 0.6% / 0.75%). The table "Trading fee splits at a glance" sets out all four splits side by side.

3.1 Regular coins LockPad deploys from Creators' ideas (75/5/10/10)

Payout Address. LockPad deploys every coin and is its deployer of record; the Creator earns the 75% share for submitting the idea (25% on a reward coin, Section 3.5). Checkout requires the Creator to enter a Payout Address on the coin's chain (Solana for Solana coins; an EVM address for BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain coins). The Creator is responsible for its accuracy. It is fixed at launch and cannot be changed, and fees sent to a wrong, unsupported or inaccessible address cannot be recovered. Exchange deposit addresses are not supported.

3.2 $LOCKY (created by LockPad; 80/20)

$LOCKY is LockPad's own token. LockPad creates it, so there is no outside Creator, and its trading fees go to LockPad:

3.3 $LOCKPAD (created by LockPad; 80/20)

$LOCKPAD is LockPad's own token. LockPad creates it, so there is no outside Creator, and its trading fees go to LockPad:

3.4 Protocol share first

Solana. On Solana, coins launch on Meteora, and Meteora takes 20% of the curve trading fees before LockPad's split. Each split above applies to the remaining 80%, which is 1.2% of trade value; on a regular coin the Creator's 75% of it is about 0.9% of every trade (on a reward coin the Creator's 25% is about 0.3% and the holders' 50% about 0.6%). The same 20% applies both on the bonding curve (Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve) and after the coin graduates to its Meteora DAMM v2 pool. Meteora's programs can be upgraded by Meteora, and Meteora sets its own protocol fee; LockPad does not control it.

EVM chains. On Base, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain, LockPad Coins trade in a Uniswap v4 pool through LockPad's own fee hook, which has no owner and no upgrade path. The hook collects the full 1.5% trading fee itself, and each split above applies to all of it: no protocol share is deducted from the 1.5%, so on a regular coin the Creator's 75% is 1.125% of every trade (on a reward coin the Creator's 25% is 0.375% and the holders' 50% is 0.75%). Liquidity is locked in that Uniswap v4 pool by the same hook, which has no code path that removes it.

3.5 Reward coins (25/50/5/10/10) and optional Community Mode

A reward coin is a LockPad Coin whose holders receive other tokens the Creator picks at launch: any token contract address (CA) that passes LockPad's one-time automated checks when it is paired (up to 5, each weighted at least 10%; tokenized-stock rewards switch on after legal review), bought with the holders' share of trading fees. The trading fee is the same 1.5% (Section 2). On Solana the split below applies to the 1.2% left after Meteora's 20% (so the Creator receives about 0.3% and holders about 0.6% of every trade); on EVM chains it applies to the full 1.5% (Creator 0.375%, holders 0.75%). A reward coin's Creator therefore receives 25%, not the 75% of a regular coin (3.1). After any protocol share (3.4):

Community Mode is an optional switch the Creator chooses at launch. When it is on, 33% of the holders' 50% is paid to holders of the paired tokens instead of to the coin's own holders, split between the paired tokens by the weights set at launch. It adds no fee and does not change the Creator's, $LOCKY's, $LOCKPAD's or LockPad's shares. The switch, the 33% share, the tokens and the weights are frozen at launch and can never be changed.

  • Who is paid. Wallets holding a paired token above a minimum holding (about $20 of that token on Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain, and about $100 on Ethereum, the same minimums as for the coin's own holders), measured as a time-weighted average over the payout period. Liquidity pools, lockers, exchange wallets, bridges, burn addresses, contracts and LockPad's own wallets are excluded.
  • When. On the same schedule as the coin's own holder rewards: about hourly on Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain, and daily on Ethereum.
  • Cost cap. A payout is sent only if the network fees for it are no more than about 3% of the amount sent. If paying every eligible wallet would cost more, the payout goes to the largest eligible holders that fit within the cap and the smallest are skipped for that payout. If even that is not possible, the amount carries over to the next payout. Each payout is made once (no double payment).
  • Fallback. If a paired token cannot be bought when rewards are paid (for example, no liquidity), that share is paid in the chain's native coin instead (on EVM chains USDC first, then the native coin), the same as the coin's own holder rewards, and the coin page shows why.
  • Backup path. The on-chain split is the same 25/50/5/10/10 with or without Community Mode; LockPad's automation divides the holders' 50% when it pays out. If LockPad's automation stops, the coin's backup path ("Lifeboat") works the same way as for any reward coin.

Holder rewards and Community Mode payouts depend entirely on trading volume and can be zero. They are not a dividend, profit share, yield or claim on any revenue or asset, and nothing is promised about the value of any token paid out. [LAWYER TO CONFIRM: reward-coin holder distributions and Community Mode need counsel review before reward coins open.]

4. Worked examples (Solana, 1.5% trading fee)

All four examples use the 1.5% trading fee every LockPad Coin charges and a single 10 SOL trade, so the total trading fee is 0.15 SOL. [TEAM TO CONFIRM the chain for $LOCKY and $LOCKPAD; these examples assume Solana.]

4.1 A regular coin created by a Creator (75/5/10/10)

In dollar terms, on $1,000 of trading volume at the 1.5% fee: total fee $15.00; Meteora $3.00; Creator $9.00; $LOCKY buyback-and-burn $0.60; $LOCKPAD buyback-and-burn $1.20; LockPad platform fee $1.20. Network fees are extra. For comparison, on an EVM chain (no protocol share) the same $1,000 pays: Creator $11.25; $LOCKY buyback-and-burn $0.75; $LOCKPAD buyback-and-burn $1.50; LockPad platform fee $1.50.

Combined LockPad-related share. Of every trading fee on a Creator's coin on Solana, 8% is LockPad's platform fee and a further 12% is routed to buybacks of LockPad's own tokens ($LOCKY and $LOCKPAD). Together, these LockPad-related flows are 20% of the total fee (25% of the distributable amount). The Creator receives 60% of the total fee.

4.2 A $LOCKY trade (80/20)

In dollar terms, on $1,000 of $LOCKY trading volume at the 1.5% fee: total fee $15.00; Meteora $3.00; $LOCKY buyback-and-burn $9.60; LockPad platform fee $2.40. Network fees are extra.

4.3 A $LOCKPAD trade (80/20)

In dollar terms, on $1,000 of $LOCKPAD trading volume at the 1.5% fee: total fee $15.00; Meteora $3.00; $LOCKPAD buyback-and-burn $9.60; LockPad platform fee $2.40. Network fees are extra.

4.4 A reward coin (25/50/5/10/10)

On the same single 10 SOL trade of a reward coin on Solana: total fee 0.15 SOL; Meteora 0.03 SOL; the remaining 0.12 SOL is split Creator 0.03 SOL (0.3% of trade value), holders 0.06 SOL (0.6%, paid in the reward tokens), $LOCKY buyback-and-burn 0.006 SOL, $LOCKPAD buyback-and-burn 0.012 SOL and LockPad platform fee 0.012 SOL. In dollar terms, on $1,000 of trading volume: Creator $3.00; holders $6.00; $LOCKY buyback-and-burn $0.60; $LOCKPAD buyback-and-burn $1.20; LockPad platform fee $1.20. On an EVM chain (no protocol share) the same $1,000 pays: Creator $3.75; holders $7.50; $LOCKY buyback-and-burn $0.75; $LOCKPAD buyback-and-burn $1.50; LockPad platform fee $1.50. Network fees are extra. A reward coin's Creator receives one third of what a regular coin's Creator would (4.1), because half the fee goes to holders.

What funds each burn. $LOCKY buybacks are funded by 5% of the distributable fees of Creators' coins plus 80% of the distributable fees of $LOCKY itself. $LOCKPAD buybacks are funded by 10% of the distributable fees of Creators' coins plus 80% of the distributable fees of $LOCKPAD itself.

5. $LOCKY and $LOCKPAD: launch terms and buyback-and-burn disclosures

  • The tokens do not exist yet. $LOCKY and $LOCKPAD have not been launched. LockPad plans to create both and launch them together after a few days of announcements on its social channels. Plans can change, and either token may launch later or never.
  • No team allocation. There is no team, founder or insider allocation of $LOCKY or $LOCKPAD. LockPad, its founder, its team members and other insiders receive no tokens from either launch: no pre-mint, reserved supply, vesting or first buy.
  • Same no-rug launch rules. Both will launch through LockPad's standard launch transaction: permanently locked liquidity, revoked mint and freeze authorities, a fixed name and ticker, a launcher wallet left with zero tokens, and the frozen split in Section 3.2 or 3.3.
  • Accrual before launch. Until each token launches, the buyback shares from Creators' coins (5% for $LOCKY, 10% for $LOCKPAD) accrue to a disclosed buyback wallet (a single-signer wallet controlled by one LockPad key; address [TBD], listed in the wallet registry) and are held only for buyback-and-burn of that token. [LAWYER/TEAM TO FINALIZE what happens if a token is never launched.]
  • Rules published in advance. Buyback frequency, method and the burn address will be published before the first buyback, and every buyback and burn transaction will be published.
  • No promises. Buyback-and-burn is not a promise of price, value, support, return or liquidity for any token, and the amounts may be small or zero. LockPad receives the platform-fee share of both tokens' trading fees and so has a financial interest in their trading. LockPad does not recommend acquiring either token.

6. Other fees and costs

  • Network fees are paid to validators, not to LockPad.
  • Automatic payouts, nothing to claim. Creators, holders and LockPad never need to claim fees by hand: LockPad's automation collects trading fees and sends every share automatically (see Payout timing below), and pays the network fees for those runs.
  • Payout timing (automatic, approximate). LockPad's automation claims and pays out Creators' shares about every 15 minutes on each chain, runs the $LOCKY and $LOCKPAD buyback-and-burns about every 15 minutes, pays reward-coin holder rewards hourly on Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain and daily on Ethereum (from holder balances sampled about every 5 minutes), and moves the LockPad platform share to the treasury hourly. A payment only goes out once it is large enough that its network fee is no more than about 3% of the amount; smaller amounts carry over to the next run. Times are targets, not guarantees, and runs can be delayed by network conditions or paused for safety.
  • LockPad charges no other fees for using the website, proof pages, waitlist or Locky.

7. Anti-sniper and max-wallet parameters

These parameters are set in the launch configuration and shown on each coin's proof page.

8. Delisted coins

LockPad delists a coin from its website only for phishing links (wallet drainers or fake airdrops) or fake volume / fake holders, under the Delisting Policy in Section 12 of the Terms. The fee configuration is frozen on-chain, so it keeps operating after delisting. This is what happens to each fee:

If a delisting is reversed on appeal, LockPad restores its claim functions for the coin. Fees that accrued during the pause stay in the protocol or the Payout Address; LockPad does not hold them.

9. Where to verify

Each proof page shows the fee configuration, the recipient wallets and links to fee flows on-chain. The full list of LockPad wallets is at officiallockpad.com/wallets.

Creator's share (75% on regular coins, 25% on reward coins)Paused to the extent LockPad controls it: LockPad stops claiming or forwarding the Creator's share for that coin through any LockPad automation (for example, an auto-claim service) and disables the "claim earnings" function for that coin on LockPad's website. LockPad cannot change the fixed on-chain split. On EVM chains the distribution function is permissionless, so anyone can still have the Creator's share paid to the Payout Address. On Solana, for coins launched with the LockPad Lifeboat program, anyone can have the Creator's share paid to the Payout Address once LockPad's keeper has not claimed it for 7 days; while LockPad's keeper keeps claiming, the Creator's share of a delisted coin is held as described here. For Solana coins whose creator fee role is held by LockPad's router wallet, the Creator cannot claim directly. [TEAM TO CONFIRM against the final fee-claim architecture per chain.]
