Fees

Launch cost + $2. Splits fixed at launch.

LockPad is the dev on every coin. Our launcher deploys it with locked liquidity and revoked powers, so no creator can rug. You bring the idea; on a regular coin you earn 75% of LockPad's fee share (traders pay 1.5%; on Solana, after Meteora keeps 20%, that's about 0.9% of every trade, and 1.125% on EVM chains), paid automatically to the wallet you list. On a reward coin, holders get half the fee and you get 25% (about 0.3% on Solana, 0.375% on EVM chains).

  • Two lines at checkout. "Network / launch cost" is our live simulation of everything LockPad pays to launch your coin on that chain (gas, priority fees, rent, pool setup and metadata pinning) plus a 20% safety buffer. "LockPad fee" is a flat $2. The figures above are today's estimates; checkout quotes the live number.
  • Live price, locked for 5 minutes. We convert the dollar total using Pyth price feeds (Chainlink, then CoinGecko as fallbacks). If the sources disagree by more than about 2%, checkout waits instead of quoting a bad price. When the lock runs out, you get a fresh quote.
  • Nothing extra later. You only pay the quoted total plus your wallet's own network fee for the payment itself. Your coin normally goes live within about 2 minutes of your payment confirming. If launch costs rise above your locked quote in that time, we never charge you more: small increases are on us, and we launch right away.
  • Refunds are automatic if a launch can't complete (including if network costs jump so far above your locked quote that we can't launch within 5 minutes of your payment), or a payment arrives late or short.
  • Where it goes. Launch fees go to LockPad's checkout wallet on that chain, which pays launch gas. Every hour, everything above a small gas float (1 SOL on Solana, 0.01 ETH on Base, 0.15 ETH on Ethereum, 0.05 BNB on BNB Chain, 0.01 ETH on Robinhood Chain) is swept to the LockPad treasury. Every balance, sweep and transaction is on the Transparency page.

Trading fee split (every coin, fixed at launch)

Every LockPad coin charges 1.5% on every buy and sell, including $LOCKY and $LOCKPAD. It's fixed at launch and can never change. After the trading venue's protocol cut, the rest is split automatically:

In plain numbers

Traders pay 1.5%. On Solana, the pool protocol (Meteora) keeps 20% of that, and on regular coins the remaining 1.2% is split 75% creator / 5% $LOCKY burn / 10% $LOCKPAD burn / 10% platform, so creators earn about 0.9% of every trade.

On Base, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain, LockPad's own pool hook collects the full 1.5% with no protocol cut, so the same split gives regular-coin creators 1.125% of every trade.

Reward coins (paired with any token CA that passes our automated checks; tokenized-stock rewards switch on after legal review) pay holders half the fee, so the creator gets 25%: about 0.3% of every trade on Solana and 0.375% on EVM chains.

On Solana, Meteora's 20% applies both on the bonding curve and after the coin graduates to its Meteora DAMM v2 pool. The percentages below are shares of what's left after any protocol cut, not of the whole 1.5%.

Regular coins:

Creator (regular coins)

Of the fee left after any protocol cut: about 0.9% of each Solana trade, 1.125% on EVM chains. Sent automatically to the payout address fixed at launch, about every 15 minutes. Nothing to claim. Reward coins: 25% (about 0.3% / 0.375%), because holders get 50%.

Example: $1,000 of trading volume on a Meteora curve on Solana pays a $15.00 fee (1.5%). Meteora keeps $3.00; on a regular coin the creator gets $9.00, $LOCKY buyback & burn $0.60, $LOCKPAD buyback & burn $1.20 and LockPad $1.20. On a reward coin the creator gets $3.00 and holders $6.00; the burns and platform fee are the same.

Reward coins

Same 1.5% fee; what's left after any protocol cut is split 25% creator / 50% holders / 5% $LOCKY burn / 10% $LOCKPAD burn / 10% platform. Holder rewards are sent automatically, hourly (daily on Ethereum). Optional Community Mode (chosen at launch): 33% of the holders' 50% goes to holders of the reward tokens instead, so 33.5% the coin's holders and 16.5% the reward tokens' holders; no extra fee, every other share unchanged. Reward coins open on each chain once launches there go live.

Reward coins (paired with any token CA that passes our automated checks; tokenized-stock rewards switch on after legal review): on Solana the same 1.2% remainder (after Meteora's 20%) is split 25% creator / 50% holders / 5% $LOCKY burn / 10% $LOCKPAD burn / 10% platform, so the creator gets about 0.3% and holders about 0.6% of every trade. On Base, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain the full 1.5% is split that way (creator 0.375%, holders 0.75%).

$LOCKY and $LOCKPAD

Same 1.5% fee, split 80% buyback-and-burn of the same token / 20% platform, after the same protocol cut.

$LOCKY and $LOCKPAD: on Solana the 1.2% left after Meteora's 20% is split 80% buyback-and-burn of the same token / 20% platform (about 0.96% and 0.24% of every trade).

Payout timing (automatic, approximate): creator payouts and $LOCKY / $LOCKPAD buyback-and-burns about every 15 minutes per chain; reward-coin holder rewards hourly (daily on Ethereum, where gas costs more), based on balances sampled about every 5 minutes; platform sweeps hourly. A payment waits for the next run until its network fee is about 3% of the amount or less.

On regular coins, creators can share part of their 75% (of the fee left after any protocol cut) with holders or put it toward buying back and burning their own coin. That choice is also fixed at launch. Reward coins don't have this option: their split is fixed at 25% creator / 50% holders.

Delisted coins

LockPad keeps its 10% platform fee from delisted coins, exactly as for any other coin, and the $LOCKY (5%) and $LOCKPAD (10%) buyback-and-burn shares keep flowing as fixed at launch. LockPad's automation stops forwarding the creator's share for that coin (on a regular coin 75% of LockPad's fee share: about 0.9% of each trade on Solana, 1.125% on EVM chains; on a reward coin 25%). The fee configuration is frozen on-chain, so LockPad can't redirect it. The launch fee isn't refunded. Delisting policy
