Fake copies of crypto extensions are a common way wallets get drained. The real LockPad for X:

  • is published by LockPad (verified publisher: officiallockpad.com) on the Chrome Web Store,
  • has the ID geiohldmflkmkmojpeapaamooonhjcil, which you can check in the extension's popup,
  • never asks for your seed phrase, never asks you to "sync" or "validate" a wallet, and never DMs you.

LockPad never asks for your seed phrase. Found a fake? Report it on the Security page.

Questions

How do I know I have the real extension?

Install it only from the button on this page. Check that the publisher is LockPad (verified: officiallockpad.com) and that the ID in the extension's popup matches the ID shown below. The real extension never asks for a seed phrase, never asks you to "sync" or "validate" a wallet, and never DMs you.

What can it see?

It reads the posts you're already looking at on x.com inside your browser to find contract addresses and $tickers. When you hover one, it sends only that address or ticker to LockPad's public API. No cookies, wallet, X handle or page URL. Details are in the privacy policy.

Can it move my funds?

No. It holds no keys and can't sign anything. Buy opens officiallockpad.com, where your own wallet shows the transaction and you decide whether to sign it.

Which coins can I buy?

Any coin. LockPad coins are bought in their official LockPad pool. Other coins route through Jupiter on Solana or Uniswap on EVM chains. Coins not launched on LockPad carry a warning, and if our automated checks failed or are still running you have to tick "buy anyway" before you can buy. LockPad adds no fee.

Works in Chrome, Brave and Edge on desktop. Privacy policy. Crypto is risky and memecoins can go to zero. Nothing here is financial advice.
